Anyway...
...got the pheremone lures out. Two new species for me and the garden. Currant Clearwing which I missed with the net (Doh!) and two of these beauties, Red-tipped Clearwing.
Only one inspiration tonight..
Had my lures out today - briefly - and got the expected nothing. Will keep trying this year though, still very early in clearwing season. Red-tipped and Currant both possible as I've them within a couple of miles, Red-belted and Yellow-legged less so. Six-belted not sure.
