It's a good idea to try and get some away from the coast if possible,
globosus is easy to separate, then you have only
politus and
aeneus/
luedersi left,
politus easily distinguished by the lack of tooth on the outer edge of the anterior tibiae and is the one usually found away from water in dry sandy/gravelly sites. Once you have these, you can begin to work backwards through the keys, but they aren't easy, it's true. Diffuse lighting helps a lot to remove the shininess, easier to see the key characters.
